Job summary

Infosys BPM in Athlone, Ireland, seeks a Fundamental Analyst fluent in Swedish to analyse company financial data and support the EMEA markets. The role offers an entry-level pathway into finance analytics with exposure to GAAP/IFRS standards and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work on extracting data from annual and quarterly reports, standardising statements, and delivering accurate information for the Client Terminal, while developing advanced Excel skills and Swedish-English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent in English and Swedish with strong communication skills.
• Understanding of financial statements and data processing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyse financial data from company reports across the EMEA markets.
• Maintain, improve, and deliver accurate information for the Client Terminal on a timely basis.
• Analyse and standardise income statement, balance sheet and cash flow data.
• Work with GAAP, IFRS and other accounting principles in data processing.

This role involves researching and analysing company financial data for Fundamental's product in support of the EMEA markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and analyse financial data from companies annual/quarterly reports Conduct company specific financial research
• Maintain, improve, and deliver accurate and high-quality information for the Client Terminal on a timely basis

Financial Data Processing Responsibilities

• Analyse and extract company performance data from financial statement like Balance Sheet, Income Statement & Cash flow statement of all the listed companies globally, both in English and Swedish language
• Standardise the data available in Income statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement in accordance with the collection policy
• Work within various global accounting principles, GAAP, IFRS etc.

Essential

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or relevant work experience
• Fluent in English and Swedish
• An understanding of the components of financial statements
• Customer focus, Problem solver with excellent communication, interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks accordingly and work to tight and conflicting deadlines
• Speed and accuracy when processing data with a high level of attention to detail
• While previous professional experience is not required, all candidates must meet the specified educational criteria and demonstrate the core skills outlined for this role
