Job summary

Infosys BPM Ltd. in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking a Fundamental Analyst with Finnish language proficiency to join our EMEA research team.

You will research and analyse financial data from companies’ annual and quarterly reports, delivering high-quality information for the Client Terminal. You will work with English and Finnish data, standardize income statements, balance sheets and cash flow figures, and apply GAAP/IFRS principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
• Fluent in English and Finnish.
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Research and analyse financial data from annual/quarterly reports.
• Conduct company-specific financial research.
• Maintain, improve, and deliver accurate and high-quality information for the Client Terminal on a timely basis.
• Analyse and extract company performance data from financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement & Cash Flow) in English and Finnish.
• Standardize the data in Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow per the collection policy.
• Work within GAAP, IFRS, etc.

This role involves researching and analysing company financial data for Fundamental’s product in support of the EMEA markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and analyse financial data from companies annual/quarterly reports
• Conduct company specific financial research
• Maintain, improve, and deliver accurate and high-quality information for the Client Terminal on a timely basis
• Analyse and extract company performance data from financial statement like Balance Sheet, Income Statement & Cash flow statement of all the listed companies globally, both in English and Finnish language
• Standardize the data available in Income statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement in accordance with the collection policy
• Work within various global accounting principles, GAAP, IFRS etc.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or relevant work experience
• Fluent in English and Finnish
• An understanding of the components of financial statements
• Customer focus, Problem solver with excellent communication, interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks accordingly and work to tight and conflicting deadlines
• Speed and accuracy when processing data with a high level of attention to detail
• While previous professional experience is not required, all candidates must meet the specified educational criteria and demonstrate the core skills outlined for this role
