Job summary

FNZ (Europe) Designated Activity Company is seeking a Medior Fund Accountant for a 24-month fixed-term contract based in Dublin. You will deliver accurate fund valuations, NAVs, and regulatory reporting, and act as a primary contact for clients and counterparties.

The role requires 1–3 years in Fund Accounting or Investment Operations, with a strong eye for detail and ability to own deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Remote/blended working is supported.

Qualifications

• Experience in Fund Accounting or Investment Operations.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to take ownership of deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Fund Accounting service and act as a key contact for queries.
• Produce accurate fund valuations and NAVs within deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Review and analyse fund accounting information to identify discrepancies.
• Execute trades with international fund managers per client mandates.
• Manage treasury activities and monitor cash positions for liquidity.
• Record, review and validate fund transactions accurately and timely.
• Perform complex reconciliations and investigate reconciling items to resolution.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual financial and statutory reporting.
• Liaise with clients, custodians, managers, brokers, auditors and banking partners.
• Support new client onboarding, fund launches and change initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls.
• Assist in training junior team members and provide guidance.
