Job summary

The StepStone Group Dublin office is seeking an Associate for the Private Debt – Fund Accounting team. You will perform shadow accounting for StepStone funds, oversee daily fund activities, and coordinate with fund administrators.

You will interact with professionals across the firm and collaborate with other StepStone offices and departments to ensure accurate reporting and processes. A 4–6 year track record and a finance-related degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in a comparable role.
• Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or mathematical-related subject.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Experience with FX hedging and complex fee calculation models.
• Knowledge of private debt/private equity or hedge funds.

Responsibilities

• Perform a Final Review before release of NAV valuations of private debt funds and fund of funds (Shadow accounting).
• In-depth review of complex management and performance fees calculation.
• Review and maintain all fund holdings for NAVs and investor reporting.
• Monitor controls to mitigate risk internally and externally.
• Assist with client reports production and coordination across portfolios.
