Job summary

Smyths Toys is seeking Sales Assistants for a temporary role in our stores in Ireland. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, helping customers find products, and working as part of a fast-paced team. Flexible hours are required as stores operate 7 days a week.

Pay is €14.25 per hour for employees over 20 and €13.00 per hour for those under 20; prior retail experience is a bonus, with benefits provided as listed in-store.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is desirable but not essential.
• Customer service skills and a friendly, helpful approach.

About The Role

This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of €14.25 per hour for over 20 and €13.00 per hour for under 20.

Responsibilities

• Keep the store clean and tidy
• Pack shelves and merchandise
• Work delivery and complete price changes
• Work on the tills
• Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers

The Ideal Candidate

Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:

• Outdoor/Bikes
• Nursery
• Software & Gaming
• Backdoor/Warehouse

Our stores are open 7 days a week so we need our Sales Assistants to be as flexible as possible.
