Evergreen Care is seeking a full-time Experienced Health Care Assistant at Carlingford Nursing Home to join a dedicated team. You will provide person-centered care, support residents to live independently with privacy and dignity, and work under the nursing team to maintain high standards of practice.

The role emphasizes compassion, interpersonal skills, and a genuine interest in aged care. Training is provided, and flexible working options are available. Garda vetting and references apply.

• Previous experience is essential.
• QQI Level 5 in Health Care Support is preferred but not essential. Further CPD is available.

Job Description

Location: Carlingford Nursing Home, Dundalk Road, Carlingford

Applications are invited for the position of full-time Experienced Health Care Assistant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to further their career with one of Ireland's leading private nursing home operators.

The main purpose of the role is;

• To work as part of a team of Health Care Assistants, under the direction of the Nursing team to provide quality person-centered care to meet the needs of residents and provide support to continue living independently with privacy and dignity.
• To promote a caring environment for residents through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of the Residents of the Home.

The successful candidates will have a genuine passion for caring and a keen Interest in aged care.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential
• Relevant QQI Level 5 in Health Care Support is preferred but not essential. Further CPD is available.
• Must be compassionate and have great interpersonal skills.
• Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
