Job summary

Little Haven Education Centre in Birr is seeking a Full-Time Early Years Practitioner (Floating Position) to support babies, toddlers and young children with a play-based, Montessori-influenced curriculum. The successful candidate will have QQI Level 5 in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent and will join a supportive environment with flexible working arrangements where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have QQI Level 5 in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent.
• Experience with play-based learning and Siolta principles is desirable.
• Able to work 38.75 hours per week and start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Educational implementation: apply Aistear and Siolta standards to support play-based learning and development.
• Holistic care: provide a safe, stimulating environment for every child.
• Observation and supervision: support babies, toddlers and young children.
• Team collaboration: work effectively as part of a team with clear communication.
• Personal attributes: caring and patient with different age groups; assist with classroom operations.
