O'Hehirs in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal is seeking a full-time Junior Deli Assistant to join our cafe team. You will help prepare and serve fresh deli items, teas, coffees, and daily specials, delivering friendly, customer-focused service.

We offer staff meals, staff discounts, and opportunities for training and progression in a supportive, creative environment. A valid work permit is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Deli Assistant is preferred (2–3 years in a similar role).
• Confident handling of cash and operating a till accurately.
• Barista training or experience making quality coffee.

Responsabilités

• Preparing and serving teas, coffees, and beverages to customers.
• Serving signature sandwiches and promoting daily specials.
• Preparing hot dishes with focus on quality and presentation.
• Keeping the work area clean, organised, and welcoming.
• Operating the till and completing end-of-day cashing-up.
• Supporting bakery and wash-up teams during busy periods.
• Welcoming and training new team members and helping them settle in.
