Job summary

ElevenLabs is seeking a remote-friendly full-stack engineer with a backend lean to join the Payments team. You will design and evolve billing, usage tracking, pricing, and payments across self-serve and enterprise channels.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable backend systems and collaboration with Finance, Growth, and Sales. You will work across a globally distributed team, with opportunities to influence pricing experiments and integration with payment providers.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Python.
• Strong background in backend development.
• Experience with APIs and cloud infrastructure tools.
• Solid understanding of data structures and storage solutions.
• Strong test design and security fundamentals.
• Ability to learn a large existing system quickly and debug production issues.
• Experience with payment providers or billing systems is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain usage tracking for accurate metering with low latency.
• Lead migration of enterprise pricing and usage processing; implement stream-processing services.
• Enable customers to upgrade and pay across entities and providers.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Growth, and product teams on compliance and experiments.
• Debug complex billing scenarios by tracing customer experience, logs, and code.
