Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Financial Services Tax team. You will manage a portfolio of financial services clients, delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services for domestic and international matters.

The successful candidate will lead engagements, provide technical tax expertise, and support growth of the practice while mentoring junior staff. Collaboration with Tax, Advisory and Audit is essential.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified with 4-5 years' PQE in financial services tax.
• Strong technical knowledge of Irish and international tax with practical, commercial solutions.
• Experience advising clients in financial services; Asset Management and/or Insurance experience is advantageous.
• Excellent project management, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative and proactive with people management and client service focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of financial services clients delivering tax compliance and international tax advisory services.
• Provide technical and commercial advice on cross-border transactions and evolving tax legislation.
• Lead multiple client engagements ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality outputs.
• Build client relationships, identify opportunities to expand engagements, participate in business development.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and collaborate with Tax, Advisory and Audit colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.
