Job summary

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) invites applications for a Summer Equity Research Internship in Ireland. You will support our Equity Research team by spotting opportunities from breaking news and market data and presenting ideas to traders.

You’ll be embedded on a buy-side desk, monitoring a basket of stocks across sectors, interpreting headlines, and collaborating with traders to refine ideas. Class of 2027/2028 graduates are encouraged to apply for a future graduate programme.

Qualifications

• Keeping up to date on current events and breaking news that affect the markets.
• Collaborator: enjoy building relationships and sharing ideas while incorporating expert opinions.
• Numerical & Logical: use numbers and data from historical events to inform current trade ideas.
• Ambitious: set goals and work hard to reach full potential.
• Curious: eager to learn about Equity Research and financial markets.
• Class of 2027 or 2028: graduates may be invited back to join our graduate programme.

Responsibilities

• Find opportunities that others may be capitalizing on by discovering new information or perspectives.
• Embed on our buy-side trading desk and monitor your basket of stocks across sectors.
• Interpret intraday headlines and convey opinions to help traders make decisions.
• Collaborate with research analysts and traders to develop trade ideas and provide real-time input.
