Job summary
Susquehanna is seeking an Equity Research intern for a 10-week summer program in Ireland. You will find opportunities by interpreting breaking news and market data, supporting a buy-side desk with a basket of stocks across sectors.
You will collaborate closely with Traders and Analysts to generate trade ideas and provide timely opinions during the trading day. You'll benefit from in-house education, mentorship from the Equity Research team, and a non-hierarchical culture focused on development.
Qualifications
- Market-savvy and up-to-date with current events affecting markets.
- Strong collaboration and communication with team members.
- Strong numerical reasoning using data from historic events.
- Ambitious and eager to learn and contribute fully.
- Curiosity about finance and equity research.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities from breaking news and market data.
- Work with Equity Research analysts and Traders on a basket of stocks.
- Interpret intraday headlines and prep for events.
- Provide real-time opinions to inform trading decisions.
