Job summary

Fidelity Investments Ireland, Galway, is seeking a Front End Software Engineer to join the Experience Engineering team. You will design, develop, test, and support enterprise web applications and services within a product delivery team.

You will contribute to technical design, code reviews, automated testing, and production support while collaborating with Product Managers, Analysts, and Quality Engineers to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology-related discipline.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong experience developing modern web applications and services.
• Experience contributing to the delivery of complex software solutions in large-scale environments.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted engineering tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical design discussions and solution development.
• Deliver high-quality software aligned with architecture and engineering standards.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices.
• Support quality through automated testing and proactive defect prevention.
• Participate in production support, issue investigation, and root cause analysis.
