Inver Energy Limited is seeking a Fresh Food Advisor to develop and uplift fresh food teams across the estate. The role emphasizes delivering engaging training, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and driving improvements in operations and customer service.

You will coach managers and store teams, standardise procedures, and support fresh food initiatives and new developments across locations.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years' experience in fresh food retail, deli, bakery, convenience, or foodservice.
• Strong knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP and food preparation techniques.
• Experience delivering training or coaching teams.
• Knowledge of Allergen legislation, Fresh Food retail operations, merchandising and display standards.
• Experienced in stock rotation and waste management, labour planning.

Aufgaben

• Deliver structured induction training for all new fresh food team members.
• Conduct practical, hands-on training in food preparation, presentation, merchandising, and customer service.
• Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and SOPs.
• Assess employee competency and provide coaching to improve performance.
• Support managers in identifying training needs and creating development plans.
• Ensure stores comply with food safety legislation, HACCP and company standards.
• Train teams on allergen management, food hygiene, temperature control, and safe handling.
• Conduct compliance audits and provide action plans for improvements.
• Promote best practice in food quality, freshness, waste management, and cleanliness.
• Support new store openings, refurbishments, and launches.
• Standardise food preparation methods across locations.
• Improve productivity through training and coaching.
• Monitor food quality and presentation standards.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through merchandising and product knowledge.
• Provide one-to-one coaching for Store Managers and Supervisors.
• Assist underperforming stores with structured improvement programmes.
