Join our Operations team in a multinational company, where you will move freight globally and handle all aspects of quoting, forwarding, customs, and third-party coordination through to completion. This senior specialist role is ideal for someone with proven experience in air and sea freight who wishes to advance their career. You will be responsible for:

  • Researching and planning the most appropriate and cost-effective routes for shipments.
  • Organizing, planning, and facilitating daily operations within the Air & Sea Freight Export Department.
  • Identifying and resolving operational issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiating contracts, transportation, and handling costs.
  • Preparing documentation to meet customs, insurance, packaging, and regulatory requirements.
  • Meeting or exceeding customer needs, requirements, and KPIs.
  • Liaising with and managing third parties according to customer requirements.
  • Arranging insurance and assisting clients with claims.
  • Maintaining communication with customers and providing management reports, statistical data, and cost analysis.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external suppliers.
  • Completing customs formalities or subcontracting services as needed.
  • Providing quotations for existing and new clients and agents.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and implementing improvement plans.
  • Driving continuous departmental improvements.
  • Assisting with department P&L management.
  • Supporting business development, sales processes, and customer visits to achieve growth targets.

What we need from you:

  • At least 10 years of experience in both Airfreight and Seafreight Export, with confidence in both modes of transport.
  • Expertise in Pharma, Perishable, or Secure Cargo products.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • A high-energy, positive attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the country of employment.
