Job summary

Google Cloud seeks a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with client accounts, bridging frontier intelligence with enterprise-ready delivery. You will write software, debug, and ship bespoke agentic workflows inside client environments, addressing release blockers and data readiness issues.

As part of Google Cloud’s Go-To-Market team, you’ll leverage Gemini and Vertex AI, with access to DeepMind engineering and research minds, driving customer success and market leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development using Python or similar languages.
• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from conception to launch on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Experience building data pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures for enterprise AI.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between Google’s AI products and customer infrastructures.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or feature requests for Engineering teams.
• Co-build with customer engineering teams to instill Google-grade development practices for long-term success.
