Aramark Northern Europe is hiring a Food Service Worker to cook and prepare meals according to recipes, while following safety and sanitation standards. This role emphasizes teamwork and consistent service in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle food preparation, service at points, and basic cooking, with on-the-job training and a requirement to obtain basic food hygiene certification within six months. Good English and reliable timekeeping are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Previous catering experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of food hygiene including HACCP.
• 1 year experience in similar environment.
• Good understanding of English.

Aufgaben

• Serve food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by the company.
• Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular HACCP regulations.
• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
• Preparation of service area and/or service points.
• Clean and replenish service equipment.
• Accurate storage of food items and equipment after service.
• Food assembly and service of same in an efficient manner, which may include some light cooking.
• Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures
• Handling cash transactions and ensuring the accurate cash handling procedures are followed in accordance with company procedure and till procedures.
• Attend in-house training sessions.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations at all times.
• To present an image at all times conducive to good customer relations.
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy.
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s policies and procedures.
• Other duties occasionally assigned by the Management team to ensure the smooth running of the department.
• An interest in food and service.
• Ability to work with minimal direction and as part of a team.
• Ability to complete paperwork as assigned by your line manager
• Dedication and self-motivation
• Good timekeeping
• To contribute to maintaining high standards of personal hygiene

Qualifications

• Previous experience with a catering environment desirable. On the job training will be given. Must acquire basic food hygiene qualification within first six months.
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP.
• 1 years’ experience in a similar environment.
• Good understanding of English.
