Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Food Service Assistant in Dublin 1 for a full-time position. You will serve meals, maintain kitchen hygiene, assist with coffee shop duties, and interact with customers to ensure a positive dining experience.

The role involves leading counters for service readiness, handling till operations where required, and supporting the team during peak periods. Training is provided, with a strong focus on cleanliness and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service is a bonus, but we’ll give you full training!
• Communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude
• A focus on cleanliness and hygiene
• A team-player, with willingness to help out

Responsibilities

• Ensure hygiene maintenance of kitchen & service areas.
• Prepare, serve and replenish food from counters and break down stations.
• Assist with making hot beverages in our coffee shops.
• Interact with customers in serving, retail, and dining areas.
• Assist with deliveries and replenishing stock (FIFO).
• Lead counters to readiness for service with allergen docs, utensils, displays and uniforms.
