Job summary

Johnston Mooney and O'Brien in Dublin seeks a QA professional to ensure day-to-day production meets Food Safety and Customer Quality standards. The role involves hourly coordination with cross-functional teams, daily finished-product testing, and monthly audits to sustain quality across the site.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years in QA Food manufacturing, strong HACCP knowledge, and a third-level qualification in food science or related field.

Qualifications

2-4 years’ experience in a QA Food manufacturing role.
Working knowledge of the Food Industry and HACCP.
Third level qualification in a food science, food technology or science.
Ability to work on one’s own initiative.
Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with cross functional teams to sustain and improve product quality.
Daily testing of finished product and coordination of monthly micro testing.
Monitor HACCP implementation on a daily basis in line with Food Safety legislation.
Conduct monthly traceability checks and internal/audits, hygienic checks and GMP audits.
Assist in writing KPI reports and investigate non-conforming product.
Support supplier monitoring and non-conforming reports; liaise with contractors.
Assist with QAS generation for online specifications and data sheets.
Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures.
