Job summary

Dawn Meats at Carroll's Cross, near Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford, seeks an NPD Technologist to support the development process across Technical, Production, Commercial and Purchasing Teams.

Based at the Carroll's Cross facility, you will assist in NPD/EPD for product launches, manage critical paths, dispatch samples, and help scale concepts for timely launches to retail and food service while ensuring audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Food Science, Food Innovation, or NPD required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel to other sites.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all NPD & EPD requirements and ensure activities adhere to Dawn's policy and procedures.
• Manage critical paths for ongoing product launches.
• Dispatch product samples.
• Scale up concepts in the factory for timely launches to retail and food service.
• Ensure audit-compliant NPD paperwork and sign-offs.
• Collaborate with site disciplines to ensure food safety, quality and legality of new/modified products.
• Prepare factory specifications and QAS for new products with signs-off from required teams.
• Complete online customer specifications as requested.
• Assist in approving new packaging on site (artworks, trays).
• Travel to meet customers and present new product concepts and seasonal insights.
