Job summary

MCMA in Ireland is seeking Social Care Workers to support diverse client groups in Ashbourne and Ratoath. You will promote rights, participate in care plans, and help ensure the welfare of service users while upholding policies and safeguarding standards.

Candidates should have CORU registration or be eligible; BA in Social Care or related degrees and a valid driving licence are desirable. We offer flexible schedules, health insurance access, and a supportive, respectful team.

Qualifications

• CORU registration or proof of valid application for CORU registration
• BA in Social Care (L7/L8) or related degrees (L7/L8) or BSc in Health & Social Care (L8)
• Eligible to register with CORU as a Social Care Worker
• Current full clean driver’s licence is desirable

Responsibilities

• Promoting the rights and responsibilities of each service user within the service
• Participating in the development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans
• Promoting physical, emotional, social, educational, and religious welfare of each service user
• Where applicable, liaising with family members and other professionals
• Adhering to policies and procedures
• Documentation and report writing
