Kerry Parents and Friends Association (KPFA) seeks Relief Social Care Workers to support residents at Rathmore Residential Services. This fixed-term vacancy offers varied shifts, including evenings, sleepovers and mornings, with some weekend work and roster changes depending on service needs.

As a Social Care Worker you will deliver high-quality, rights-based care, advocate for individuals, and work within HIQA, GDPR and disability service standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold CORU registration or be eligible for registration on the Social Care Workers Register.
• Experience in disability services or social care is preferred.
• Ability to work flexibly in varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide person centred support and advocacy for individuals.
• Support daily living skills and promote inclusion in the community.
• Document daily records, progress notes and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with external agencies for holistic care.
