Job summary

Positive Futures is looking for a Support Worker to assist people with a learning disability, acquired brain injury or autism to live independently and have real choice and control over their lives. You don’t need formal qualifications or experience; kindness, patience and reliability matter most.

You’ll learn about each person’s goals, routines and independence, then support them with daily living, personal care, community access and advocacy, while keeping accurate records and staying

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months paid or voluntary care or support experience.
• Full, valid Irish/EU/EEA driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Support with daily living skills and personal care as needed.
• Help clients manage money and access community activities.
• Advocate for clients and coordinate with other services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
