Myn is seeking a locum GP in Ireland to provide comprehensive general practice care for booked surgeries and urgent visits. The role includes occasional home visits, prescribing within the formulary, and coordinating follow-ups to ensure continuity of care.

Applicants should be fully registered with the Irish Medical Council, hold CPD and CPR/BLS certifications, and have appropriate indemnity cover. Prior locum experience is advantageous. Indemnity and registration support is offered.

Formación

• Primary medical qualification recognised by the Irish Medical Council.
• Current General Practice registration with the Irish Medical Council.
• CPD up-to-date; CPR/BLS certification in place.

Responsabilidades

• Provide general practice consultations across booked surgeries.
• Conduct home visits where clinically required.
• Prescribe medications following formulary and guidelines.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and refer as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in practice software.
• Ensure continuity of care with GPs and staff.
• Adhere to governance, safeguarding and infection control protocols.
• Maintain indemnity and CPD requirements.

Educación

MB BCh BAO or equivalent

Irish Medical Council registration

ICGP membership or eligibility

Medical indemnity cover (Medisec/MPS/MDU)

CPR/BLS certification
