Job summary

Europcar Mobility Group Shannon is seeking a Driver Valetor to deliver exceptional customer service and support fleet operations. You will prep vehicles, drive between branches and pickup/drop-off points, and complete pre- and post-rental inspections to maintain quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Full clean B driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years is essential.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• 40 hour working week, Mon-Sun.
• Physical ability to bend, lift and stand for extended periods.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus (oil, tyres etc).

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and prepping vehicles for rental.
• Drive vehicles to and from designated locations including rental branches, airports, and customer pickup/drop-off points, keeping an accurate log.
• Perform pre- and post-rental inspections to ensure vehicles meet standards.
• Auditing vehicle quality inside and out.
• Tracker installation/removal and activation/deactivation.
• Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate vehicle movements with team members.
• Carry out safety and maintenance checks.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain health and safety for yourself and colleagues.
