Overview

Expert welcome applications for this new, permanent role with a Main Contractor for a project based in the Eglinton area. Ideally, applicants should have experience in the following:

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman in the Residential sector, preferably Social Housing
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to interpret drawings, plans and specifications
• A focus on quality and attention to detail
• H&S knowledge
• Valid CSR Card / SMSTS / SSSTS / First Aid at Work
• Management of sub-contractors

Responsibilities

• Oversee all finishing trades on-site to ensure high quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety standards and project specifications
• Conduct quality control inspections and address any deficiencies promptly
• Coordinate with the Site Manager and project team to meet project deadlines and client expectations
• Ensure compliance with H&S regulations at all times
• Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports and material deliveries
• Liaise with Clerk of Work to ensure successful handover
