Job summary

Pontoon Solutions is seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a Financial Services focused team in Dublin. The role involves guiding Agile practices, fostering self-organisation, and coaching teams toward higher Scrum maturity.

You will support the Product Owner, remove impediments, and promote a collaborative environment with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven Scrum Master experience leading software development teams.
• Experience in Financial Services; fund accounting is a plus but not required.
• Strong servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of burndown techniques and retrospective formats.
• Familiarity with XP, Kanban, Crystal and other Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with User Stories, ATDD, TDD, CI, CT, pairing, automated testing, and Agile games.
• Solid understanding of the technologies used by the team.
• Previous managerial experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

• Guide teams in applying Agile/Scrum practises and values to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate self-organisation and empower teams to improve processes.
• Assess Scrum maturity and coach teams to higher levels at a comfortable pace.
• Remove impediments and help teams find resources to resolve issues.
• Create a safe, trusting environment where concerns can be raised openly.
• Facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts to enable productive collaboration.
• Improve internal and external communication, increasing transparency.
• Support the Product Owner in grooming and maintaining the backlog.
• Lead by example with servant leadership and unwavering team support.
