Job summary

Ardonagh Europe, a European platform within The Ardonagh Group, is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join the central finance team in Ireland. You will own financial reporting and control across multiple jurisdictions and work with senior stakeholders.

You will prepare monthly management accounts for Irish service entities and the UK holding company, lead intercompany reconciliations, statutory reporting, audits, and partner with FP&A to analyze costs.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • 5+ years' post-qualified experience
  • Previous experience in financial reporting, financial control or accounting management roles
  • Strong statutory reporting and audit experience
  • Excellent Excel and systems skills (D365 experience advantageous)
  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and geographies
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident communicator who can engage effectively with senior management and external partners

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for two Irish service companies and the UK holding company using D365.
  • Manage day-to-day Financial Control Activities, including: Balance sheet reconciliations, Bank reconciliations, Accruals and prepayments, Intercompany accounting and loan management, Interest calculations
  • Lead the allocation of central services costs across the European business.
  • Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Oversee quarterly statutory reporting packs and support annual statutory reporting and audit processes.
  • Partner with FP&A teams to review costs, analyse variances and ensure alignment with budgets.
  • Support VAT reporting requirements in the UK and Ireland.
  • Complete monthly IFRS accounting entries, including investment accounting.
  • Work alongside the European Controller to develop and enhance Ardonagh Europe\u2019s financial control framework.
  • Collaborate with Group Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal teams and local finance teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with Group policies, Transfer Pricing and Pillar 2 requirements

Help Shape the Financial Control Environment of a Fast-Growing European Platform

Ardonagh Europe is looking for an ambitious and driven Financial Reporting Manager to join our central finance team and play a key role in supporting our continued growth across Europe.

Reporting to the European Controller, you'll take ownership of financial reporting and control activities for our central services entities while helping to strengthen financial governance and reporting standards across our European operations.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

  • Insurance or Financial Services experience is beneficial but not essential
