Job summary

Fairstone Ireland in Kilkenny is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Administrator/Paraplanner to manage new business applications for life, protection, pensions, and investments from receipt to policy issue. You will work closely with Financial Advisors and life companies to deliver accurate, compliant service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12–18 months' experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of the financial planning landscape.
• Ability to work within defined business processes.
• Detailed, accurate and articulate.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Package new business applications with Financial Advisors.
• Prepare suitability letters in accordance with the agreed recommendations.
• Ensure all compliance and regulatory paperwork is in order.
• Manage a pipeline of applications across pension, protection, savings and investment products.
• Coordinate with our processing team in Fairstone Assist who deal directly with providers.
• Address client queries and document requests with clarity and efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date CRM records and filing system.
• Familiarise yourself with the Consumer Protection Code and related legislation.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements and handle ad hoc requests.
