Last year they invested over €4 million in one facility. The company has over 110 employees, with a reputation for long service. The owners recognize the important role employees have in ensuring continued success.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the MD, you will be part of the management team. Established financial systems are already in place; your role is to maintain these reporting systems and ensure full compliance and controls. You will have full control of the finance function, supported by 9 staff across various sites. There are 5 companies within the group for which you will produce monthly management accounts.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the MD, you will be part of the management team. Established financial systems are in place; your task is to maintain these, ensure compliance, and implement controls. You will oversee the entire finance function supported by 9 staff across various sites. You will prepare management accounts for 5 group companies.

Duties include:

  1. Accounts Preparation
  2. Year-End Audit
  3. Tax returns
  4. Cashflows
  5. Forecasts
  6. Compliance with Revenue Authorities
  7. Statutory Accounts
  8. Liaising with Top 4 Auditors
  9. Supporting expansion projects
  10. Overseeing monthly internal procedures
  11. Cashflows and cash management

Payroll is managed by an outsourced provider.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, Chartered, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) with industry experience and people management skills. A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills are essential. As part of the management team, you should have ambitions to grow with the company.
