Sitting as part of an experienced leadership team, you will lead on all operational finance activities and strategic initiatives. You'll take a strategic finance lead to support the Managing Director, you will maintain a robust financial control framework and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, but your primary responsibilities will focus on day to day running of accounts department, strategic and operation projects.

Role Overview:

Due to continued growth and exciting strategic business plans our client is looking to recruit a Financial Controller/ General Manager to provide financial management, sound technical advice, commercial insight to influence strategy and enable the business to achieve its strategic goals.

This is a Sr Position reporting directly to the CEO. As Financial Controller this position will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control. You will be responsible for day to day running of accounts and accounts systems and have responsibility for improving efficiency and increasing departmental profits while managing the company's overall operations.

Your Profile:

The Financial Controller will be a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen. They will have held a similar position in a successful business which has grown at a pace. They will have strong financial management skills through business growth, reviewed and driven continuous improvement of processes, controls, reporting and IT systems The Financial Controller will be an experienced people manager who enjoys motivating, developing and managing their people in a fast moving and changing business. They will be an excellent communicator and influencer who has broad business skills who will enjoy being a key member of an ambitious management team.
