Job Title:Financial Reporting Analyst

Reports To:Financial Controller

Work Model:Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Contract Type:20-month fixed-term contract with a view to permanency

Basic Purpose

We are hiring on behalf of a leading global company in thelogistics and supply chain industry. TheFinancial Reporting Analystwill play a key role in delivering high-quality, cost-effective managerial reporting in line with accounting principles and corporate policies. This position supports strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis and reporting.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Timely and accurate processing of the monthly financial close
  • Preparation of month-end accruals
  • Maintain first-class financial reporting aligned with group policies
  • Monitor and analyze results at terminal and product level vs. budget and prior year
  • Support management in optimizing decisions through financial performance insights
  • Coordinate balance sheet reviews
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Facilitate internal and external audits
  • Report monthly on internal controls to the region
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage multiple stakeholders, including Shared Service Centres and external auditors
  • Assist with AP queries and systems (Concur & Coupa)
  • Prepare Power BI reports
  • Contribute to financial projects and ad hoc analysis

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Financial Reporting (Essential)
  • Recognized Accountancy Qualification (e.g., Diploma, Accounting Technician)
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making influence
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels
  • Advanced Excel skills (Essential)
  • Commercial finance and auditing experience
  • SAP knowledge (Advantage)
  • Power BI experience preferred
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and flexible
