Job summary

Archer Recruitment is recruiting a Financial Analyst for a growing insurance group. It is a 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension, focusing on M&A, value creation and growth. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and a highly commercial finance remit.

You will build models, assess acquisition opportunities and analyze performance to identify where value can be created across the group.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with strong financial modelling and commercial focus.
• Experience in FP&A, valuations or M&A analysis is preferred.
• Ability to present insights to CFO and senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record in building robust financial models.

I am recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join a growing insurance group with ambitious plans to scale through both organic growth and acquisition.

This is an opportunity for a qualified accountant to move beyond traditional financial reporting and into a highly commercial role, working directly with the CFO and senior stakeholders across the group.

You’ll use your financial expertise to build models, assess acquisition opportunities, understand business performance and identify where the group can create additional value.

With multiple insurance businesses operating under the group, you’ll have exposure across M&A, commercial strategy, customer economics and value creation, with your analysis feeding directly into senior-level decision-making.

What they’re looking for

• Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CGMA or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience in a financial analysis, commercial finance, FP&A, transaction services or similar role
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
• Experience with M&A modelling, valuations or acquisition analysis
• Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to look beyond the numbers and understand what drives business performance
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
