Job summary

STRIVE Search in Cork is seeking a commercially minded Financial Advisor to join a fast-growing wealth management team. You will manage an existing client book, provide regulated advice, and develop long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Fully QFA qualified and compliant with Irish regulations.
• Experience in financial advisory or wealth management.
• Strong knowledge of Irish financial services market and products.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven track record in developing client books and meeting targets.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulated financial advice tailored to clients' circumstances and goals.
• Manage and develop an existing client portfolio, building relationships.
• Conduct financial reviews and identify opportunities to meet clients' changing needs.
• Advise across protection, pensions, investments, savings and retirement planning.
• Identify opportunities to generate new business and grow the client portfolio.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance.
• Deliver a high standard of ongoing client service and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide regulated financial advice tailored to clients' individual financial circumstances and long-term goals.
• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients, building strong and lasting relationships.
• Conduct financial reviews and identify opportunities to meet clients' changing needs.
• Advise across protection, pensions, investments, savings and retirement planning.
• Identify opportunities to generate new business and grow the client portfolio.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all advice and recommendations meet regulatory and compliance requirements.

Key Skills Required

• Fully QFA qualified.
• Previous experience in financial advisory, wealth management or a related financial services role.
• Strong knowledge of the Irish financial services market and relevant products.

• Ability to manage an existing client portfolio while generating new business.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Experience advising across pensions, investments and protection.
• Previous experience managing or developing a client book.
• A proven track record in business development, sales or achieving commercial targets.
• Experience within a wealth management firm or financial advisory brokerage.
