Job summary

A global client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team in Cashel, Co. Tipperary. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations and report to the divisional Financial Controller. The role requires at least 5 years PQE in financial reporting, strong Excel and ERP experience, along with excellent communication skills. This is a full-time, permanent on-site position, offering the chance to work in a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' PQE in financial preparation/reporting.
• Technically strong with significant experience in end-to-end financial reporting.
• Ability to liaise with external stakeholders on statutory obligations.

Responsibilities

• End to end financial reporting; period-end close, prepare packs on P&L, balance sheet and cashflow analysis.
• Review journals, accruals and pre-payments.
• Budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Overview of AP/AR function.
• Continuous process and internal control improvements.
