Job summary

Prospects is assisting a leading construction client in Dublin to recruit a newly qualified Financial Accountant. You will join the finance team and work closely with the Financial Controller, Head of Finance, and wider team on management accounts, consolidations, VAT/returns, and year-end reporting.

ACA/ACCA qualification and strong attention to detail are essential, with a proactive, commercially minded approach.

Financial Accountant | Newly Qualified | Dublin

I’m currently working with a leading construction client who is looking to hire a newly qualified Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career and gain broad exposure across a growing construction business.

You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller, Head of Finance and wider finance team, with exposure to:

• Preparation of management accounts


• Group consolidations


• Month‑end reporting


• VAT & RCT returns


• Balance sheet reviews & reconciliations


• Intercompany accounting


• Statutory audit & year‑end accounts


• Budgeting & forecasting


• Board‑level reporting and financial analysis


• Ad‑hoc commercial finance projects

The ideal candidate will have:
