Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for month end activities including payroll, accruals and other accounting transactions.
  • Lead statutory financial statements preparation for group entities.
  • Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparation/review of VAT and other local tax returns.
  • Assist the business with financial and other queries.

Job requirements

Skills:

  • Experience with Financial Accounts and VAT filing preparation
  • SOX, US GAAP & IFRS Experience
  • Multi-national experience preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Ability to work independently & under tight reporting deadlines
  • Self-Starter with strong analytical, innovative and achievement capabilities
  • Strong systems skills, SAP / NetSuite or other ERP experience desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written English.
  • Education:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related.
  • Qualified accountant with minimum of 4 years’ experience.

Job responsibilities

Financial Accounting / Reporting

  • Month End Activities including Payroll, Accruals and other accounting transactions/journals as required to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Responsible for Intercompany billing, receipts, and payables invoices.
  • Prepare Balance sheet Reconciliations.
  • Lead Statutory Financial statements preparation for certain group entities, from Trial Balance to Board Signing.
  • For other legal entities working as part of a team to provide financial information to external auditors.

Tax Reporting & Other Filings

  • Preparation/Review of VAT & Other Local Tax returns in collaboration with 3rd party service providers.
  • Preparation of various filings including CSO returns.
  • Collaborate with internal and external, tax, legal, accounting and business teams.

Other

  • Assist the business with financial and other queries.
  • Maintain Internal Controls, Accounting processes and procedures.
  • Lead/Participate on other Projects as required.
  • Support continuous improvement of processes, procedures and reporting.
