Financial Accountant

This Financial Accountant opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close activities and business partnering within a collaborative, high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities

As the Financial Accountant, you will:

• Lead and coordinate month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and support annual statutory accounts.
• Partner with auditors, tax advisers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and strong financial controls.
• Oversee overhead reporting, accruals, budgeting support and performance tracking.
• Maintain fixed asset accounting, support tax compliance processes and contribute to finance improvement projects.

About You

To succeed as a Financial Accountant, you will have:

• A professional accounting qualification with at least 5 years' experience in a fast-paced finance environment.
• Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge, with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across multiple stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; SAP experience would be advantageous.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
