Job summary

Primark is seeking a Finance Manager - ESG Reporting to lead the ESG reporting process within a newly separated PLC environment. You will manage external reporting, ensure compliance with CSRD/TCFD, and partner with Legal, Finance, Product and Communications teams.

The role requires a professional qualification with at least 5 years’ experience in similar roles, strong communication skills, and the ability to analyse high volumes of data. English essential; European language advantageous.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of external reporting standards (TCFD, CSRD)
• Experience with ESG frameworks (GRI an advantage)
• Experience in ESG strategy and non-financial reporting
• 5+ years in similar roles
• Experience in PLC or large multinational environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong planning and organisational abilities
• Attention to detail with data analysis
• Commercial awareness and broad business understanding
• English essential; another European language is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ESG reporting processes for required frameworks
• Ensure external reporting complies with standards and expectations
• Support measurement of ESG goals and targets
• Govern governance and external assurance processes for ESG reporting
• Contribute to performance narratives and market communications
• Collaborate with Technology to maintain accurate ESG KPIs
• Communicate evolving ESG regulations and frameworks
• Work with multiple teams to support ESG reporting
• Input into governance and assurance of ESG reporting
