Job summary

SkySpecs is seeking a qualified Finance Manager to own day-to-day finance across our EMEA entities. The role covers the EMEA close, payroll coordination, banking administration, intercompany accounting, and working with Legal, People & Culture, and Operations on entity matters.

This hands-on position emphasizes ownership, review, controls, coordination, and process improvement, with an expectation to leverage AI and modern finance tools for analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong month-end close and balance-sheet accounting experience.
• Strong systems mindset with use of technology to improve processes.
• Experience with NetSuite or another multi-entity ERP.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close for EMEA entities, including review of P&Ls, balance sheets, reconciliations and journals.
• Coordinate monthly EMEA payroll process with People & Culture team and Deel platform.
• Act as authorised user on bank accounts, initiating or approving payments with segregation of duties.
• Coordinate local accountants, tax advisers, statutory auditors and other service providers.
• Coordinate EMEA statutory accounts, VAT, tax and recurring compliance requirements.
• Main Finance contact for EMEA statutory audits.
• Own intercompany reconciliation process, coordinating settlements and transfer pricing docs.
• Collaborate with India Finance to review outputs and improve processes.
• Support company secretarial and entity-maintenance matters with Legal and external providers.
• Identify and deliver improvements to close, intercompany, banking and compliance processes.
• Use AI and systems like NetSuite, Salesforce and Ramp to improve analysis and controls.
• Support onboarding of new entities and other group Finance projects.

Job description

SkySpecs is looking for a qualified Finance Manager to take day-to-day ownership of finance across our EMEA entities.

The successful candidate will own the EMEA close and coordinate statutory and audit processes, payroll, banking administration, intercompany accounting and local advisers. They will work closely with Legal, People & Culture and Operations on EMEA entity matters.

This role is hands-on, but not transaction-processing focused. The emphasis will be on ownership, review, controls, coordination and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will be an active user of AI and modern finance technology, using these tools to improve analysis, documentation, controls and processes while retaining appropriate human review and judgement.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly close for EMEA entities, including review of P&Ls, balance sheets, reconciliations and journals.
• Coordinate and review the monthly EMEA payroll process with the People & Culture team and the Deel platform, validating payroll changes and outputs and ensuring payroll is accurately accounted for.
• Act as an authorised user on relevant bank accounts, including initiating or approving payments in line with agreed segregation-of-duties controls.
• Coordinate local accountants, tax advisers, statutory auditors and other service providers.
• Coordinate EMEA statutory accounts, VAT, tax and recurring compliance requirements.
• Act as the main Finance contact for EMEA statutory audits.
• Own the EMEA intercompany reconciliation process, reviewing work prepared by the Finance team, coordinating settlements and supporting year-end transfer pricing documentation.
• Work closely with the India Finance team to review EMEA accounting outputs, resolve exceptions and improve recurring processes.
• Support company secretarial and entity-maintenance matters with Legal and external providers.
• Identify and deliver improvements to EMEA close, intercompany, banking and compliance processes.
• Use AI and core systems, including NetSuite, Salesforce and Ramp, to improve analysis, controls and recurring processes.
• Support the onboarding of new entities and other group Finance projects as required.

What we’re looking for

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualified experience in industry
• Experience in a multinational, multi-entity finance environment.
• Strong month-end close and balance-sheet accounting experience.
• Experience with statutory accounts, audit and international finance compliance.
• Experience coordinating payroll and working with outsourced advisers.
• Strong understanding of intercompany and foreign currency accounting.
• Comfortable working with banks and supporting banking administration.
• Experience with NetSuite or another multi-entity ERP; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Strong systems mindset, with practical experience using technology and automation to improve Finance processes.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and elevate material accounting or control issues appropriately.
