Barden have been exclusively retained to introduce an exceptional Finance Director to one of Ireland’s most high profile businesses. This is a C-1, strategic leadership role that will have a huge impact on the future of a dynamic organisation.

This is not just a finance job—it’s a platform for influence, innovation, and impact.

Reporting directly to the CFO, and working closely with all of the SLT, the Director of Finance will lead both Commercial Finance and Financial Reporting, driving performance, governance, and strategic alignment across the business.

Key Areas of Impact will include:

  • Strategic Finance Leadership: Set the direction for finance teams, aligning financial strategy with board-level objectives.
  • Board Engagement: Deliver high-quality reporting and insights at the highest level, including Audit & Risk Committee presentations.
  • Performance Analytics: Lead forecasting, planning, and scenario modelling to inform strategic decisions.
  • Treasury & Liquidity: Manage banking relationships, cash flow, and funding structures to optimise resilience.
  • Tax & Audit Oversight: Ensure robust compliance and governance across tax strategy and audit cycles.
  • Risk & Controls: Build and maintain a strong internal control framework and monitor financial risks.
  • Sustainability & CSRD: Contribute to sustainability reporting and ESG initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Shape team structure, drive performance, and lead change across the finance function.
