Job summary

TransferMate, a global payments provider, is seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst – Finance to translate Finance requirements into trusted datasets, reports and automated workflows. You will build pipelines, dashboards and semantic models, partnering with Finance to support planning, reconciliation and controls, and contribute AI-enabled analytics while ensuring data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in data analytics, CS, information systems, engineering, mathematics or a related field.
• Strong Power BI or BI experience, data modelling, DAX, dashboards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to Finance and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced SQL with relational databases and large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reliable pipelines, transformations, data models and reporting datasets with validation and monitoring.
• Translate Finance requirements into scalable models, reports, dashboards and workflow prototypes.
• Develop and govern reusable Finance datasets, semantic models and reporting standards.
• Own multiple data and reporting initiatives, managing priorities, risks and stakeholder expectations.
• Partner with Finance on reporting, planning, reconciliation and controls.
• Analyze financial and operational data to explain performance, variances and issues.
• Explore AI uses in Finance reporting: anomaly detection, forecasting, governance.
• Use automation and low-code tools to reduce manual data prep and reporting.
• Establish and monitor Finance data-quality controls and document changes.
