Join us as a Finance Business Partner
The Finance Business Partner is a trusted advisor to the Business Directorate, providing financial insight, analysis and decision support that enables informed decision-making and drives sustainable business performance.
Reporting to the Business Directorate Finance Business Manager, you will partner with Sales, Product and Marketing teams, supporting commercial decisions through pricing analysis, forecasting, financial modelling and performance reporting. Working in a collaborative and agile environment, you will help deliver the Business Directorate's strategic and financial objectives while driving profitability and continuous improvement.
What else it involves:
Business Partnering
- Act as the Finance Business Partner for the Business Directorate, building trusted relationships with Sales, Product and Marketing teams.
- Provide proactive financial support, insight and constructive challenge to enable business decisions.
- Influence decision-making through robust financial analysis and commercial recommendations.
Commercial Performance & Pricing
- Evaluate customer pricing proposals for new acquisitions and customer re-signs, developing financial models, tools and reporting to optimise acquisition, retention and profitability.
- Support go-to-market pricing, commission reporting and commercial initiatives that improve revenue and margin.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities.
- Monitor financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities while providing actionable recommendations.
- Partner with the business to deliver cost initiatives and improve financial performance.
Reporting & Controls
- Produce timely month-end reporting, KPI dashboards and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Work closely with Financial Control to ensure accruals, deferrals and financial reporting comply with accounting standards and company policies.
- Continuously improve reporting, financial processes and controls through automation, data analytics and emerging technologies, including AI.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and controls.
- Support cross-functional projects that deliver operational and financial benefits.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing Finance team.

What We’re Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and business case development.
- Experience partnering with stakeholders and influencing business decisions.
- Commercial and financial acumen.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate financial data into practical business insight.
- Strong planning, organisation and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience of Oracle, Cognos, Power BI or similar reporting tools.
