Job summary

Stryker is recruiting for its Finance & Accounting Graduate Programme in Carrigtwohill, Cork. Start date is September 2027. The 36-month programme provides three rotations through Manufacturing Finance, R&D Finance, Procurement Finance, and Financial Accounting & Tax.

Candidates should be upcoming or recent graduates with a Level 8+ Finance or Accounting degree and aim to balance on-the-job learning with pursuing a professional accounting qualification.

Qualifications

• Level 8+ Finance/Accounting degree, or on track to complete.
• 2.1 result in Finance/Business/Accounting discipline.
• Graduates expected between June 2025 and Sept 2027.

Responsibilities

• Rotations across Manufacturing Finance, R&D Finance, Procurement Finance, Financial Accounting & Tax.
• Develop budgeting, forecasting, month end reporting and balance sheet skills.
• Prepare statutory financials and support Irish tax reporting and audits.

Location: Carrigtwohill, Cork.

If you are an upcoming or recent graduate in a Level 8 or above Finance or Accounting discipline-based Degree, then this is the opportunity for you!

The Finance & Accounting Graduate Programme is a 36-month structured programme that provides participants three 12-month rotations across different areas of our Global Business including:

• Manufacturing Finance
• R&D Finance
• Procurement Finance
• Financial Accounting & Tax

Each rotation will have a different focus where participants will become skilled in various key financial areas including:

• Budgeting
• Forecasting
• Month End Reporting
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Balance Sheet Review
• Capital Investments
• New Product Costing
• Savings Calculation and Analysis
• Materials Standard Costing
• Business Case Appraisal
• Preparation of Statutory financials
• Irish tax
• Internal tax reporting
• External Audit Process

What You Need?

• Candidates must have already attained or be on course to attain a 2.1 result in a Level 8 or above in a Finance/Business/Accounting discipline-based Degree.
• Candidates must have/will have attained the above between June 2025 and Sept 2027.
• Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• The individual should enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic and results orientated team environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work cross-functionally and with global teams.
