Job summary

A leading service provider in Ireland is seeking a Service Technician with strong mechanical aptitude to deliver excellent customer service. This hands-on role involves servicing and repairing a variety of equipment, troubleshooting, and project work. Full training and continuous upskilling will be provided in a supportive environment. A full, clean manual driving licence is essential.

Job description
Overview

This job will suit a mechanically minded, hands-on, customer-focused individual to join a well-established growing company. This Service Technician will work on a variety of equipment and full training will be provided with support from other technicians. Continuous upskilling of all technicians is provided, offering long term progression.

Responsibilities
  • Service and repair a wide range of equipment
  • Troubleshoot and carry out preventative maintenance checks.
  • Deliver varied project work within the service department.
  • Provide excellent customer service in a hands-on, problem-solving role.
Requirements
  • Strong mechanical/technical aptitude (ideal for technicians, electricians, mechanics, farmers, or similar).
  • Good communicator with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • A full, clean manual driving licence.
  • Practical experience using hand tools (spanners, socket sets, screwdrivers, etc.).
  • A good communicator with a professional, customer-focused attitude.
  • Team player with a flexible approach.
Desirable (but not essential):
  • Electrical, mechanical, or engineering qualifications.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware and networking.
