Job summary

Elk Recruitment is seeking a Service / Installation Technician for field-based work in Cork City. You will be responsible, reliable, punctual and trustworthy, representing the company professionally while building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

The role offers an excellent salary and the security of a company vehicle. The position requires Electrical or Mechanical qualifications, strong customer communication, and a full driving licence, with forklift driving and Safe Pass

Qualifications

• Electrical or Mechanical qualification required.
• Strong customer communication and ability to work under pressure.
• Computer experience for recording work on service systems.
• Full clean driving licence; forklift and Safe Pass advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance and installation of door and docking equipment.
• Respond to customer call-out service requests promptly.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance visits.
• Provide service recommendations after maintenance visits.
• Manage van stock and install new equipment on customer sites.
• Recycle or scrapp e parts as required.
