Job summary

Linesight is seeking a FIDIC Engineer / Contract Administrator to manage contract administration under FIDIC in large infrastructure or date center projects. You will lead notices, instructions, claims, and variations, ensuring compliance with timelines and procedures, while coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors for clear communications.

You will provide expert advice on FIDIC interpretations, determinations and dispute resolutions, and lead project meetings to monitor

Qualifications

• Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
• Proven years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or data center projects, with acting as Lead FIDIC Engineer/Senior Contract Administrator
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contract forms and their practical application on construction projects
• Demonstrated ability to manage contract correspondence, notices, and claims with precision and professionalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clarity and accuracy
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and confident managing documentation across multiple stakeholders
• Collaborative mindset with clients, consultants, and contractors

Responsibilities

• Act as the contract administrator, ensuring all contractual obligations under the FIDIC form of contract are properly executed and administered
• Lead and manage the contract administration process, including notices, instructions, claims, and variations, ensuring compliance with contractual timelines and procedures
• Coordinate closely with the client, consultant, and contractor teams to ensure alignment and effective communication on contractual and commercial matters
• Provide clear, accurate and timely advice on FIDIC contract interpretation, claims assessment, determinations and dispute resolution
• Lead and attend key project and progress meetings, providing expert guidance on contract administration and performance monitoring
• Implement and monitor key project procedures, ensuring consistent compliance with project governance and FIDIC requirements
• Support continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing contract administration processes.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will:

• Possess strong technical knowledge of FIDIC contract forms and their practical application on construction projects
• Have a proven ability to manage contract correspondence, notices, and claims with precision and professionalism
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy
• Are detail-oriented, highly organised, and confident managing documentation and processes across multiple stakeholders
• Thrive in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Not a pre-requite contract administration certification (e.g. MRICS, MCIArb, MCIOB, PMP).
