Overview

Farm Worker – Part-Time (Beef & Sheep Farm, Adare, Co. Limerick)

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Farm Worker to join a large beef and sheep farm near Adare. This is a part-time role offering steady hours, variety in day-to-day tasks, and the opportunity to work with livestock in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Beef cattle and sheep management (including dosing, hoof care, and feeding)


• Lambing support (December-May; experience helpful but training provided)


• Farm maintenance: fencing, machinery work, and general upkeep


• Adhering to Department of Agriculture regulations and farm safety standards


• Grassland management and spraying (valid certification required)

Requirements

• Full, clean driver’s licence


• Tractor driving experience and licence to tow (essential)


• Flexibility during lambing season and for occasional emergencies


• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Hours

• Weekdays: 3 full days (8:30am – 4:30pm)


• Weekends: 4 hours split shift (8:30-10:30am & 2:30-4:30pm, Saturday & Sunday)


• Every 3rd weekend off
