Job summary

JGS Poultry Ltd. seeks an experienced Maintenance Fitter to service and repair farm equipment at Killathy, Ballyhooly, Co. Cork. This is a permanent, full-time role with a 39-hour week.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hands-on experience, a Level 4 qualification, and strong manual skills. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, welding and fabrication as needed, and adhering to safety procedures on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a maintenance role.
• Level 4 qualification (incl Leaving Certificate/ Leaving Certificate Applied).
• Strong manual and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair farm equipment and machinery on site.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently.
• Carry out welding and fabrication work as needed to repair equipment.
• Adhere to safety procedures and protocols on site.
