Job summary

Killala Precision Components Ltd. in Killala, Ireland, is seeking a full-time CNC Setter/Programmer to program, set, prove out and optimise FANUC sliding head and fixed head CNC machines to produce precision components to specification.

Qualifications

Qualified in machining or manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
Experience in precision engineering or CNC manufacturing desirable.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and ensure quality of work.

Responsibilities

Program, set, prove out and optimise FANUC sliding head and fixed head CNC machines to produce precision components to specification.
Collaborate with supervisors, quality personnel, and operators to meet production targets, support continuous improvement, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform first-off inspection and ongoing monitoring of the process to ensure components meet tight tolerances.
Support operator training and provide technical guidance where required.
Complete all production documentation and maintain accurate records.
Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards, including working within ISO-certified systems.
